At Canada Chemists our pets are family, so we understand that your pet’s health and wellness are extremely important to you. We are experienced in pet care medications including pain relief, heart disease, inflammation, thyroid disorders, anxiety, ear infections and more. We carry a wide range of pet medications, over-the-counter care, and supplements, and offer custom prescription services for your dog, cat, or rabbit – just like for our human patients! Our pet medications are fairly-priced and easily accessible compared to the veterinarian’s office.

Canada Chemists uses the highest quality raw ingredients in our hypoallergenic lab to produce your customized prescription compounds in a timely and accurate manner. Our compounding facility houses powder-safe hoods equipped with double HEPA filters to improve staff safety when handling hazardous agents. Our compounding pharmacy also offers preparations to support naturopath and dermatology clinics, pet care, and more. We take every precaution to produce and dispense optimal compounds, including:
- Custom compounded medications
- Eye Drops
- Hyperpigmentation creams
- Liquid Suspensions
- Pain relief gels
- Small animal compound products
Compliance Support
If you are prescribed multiple medications and struggle with consistency or compliance, visit Canada Chemists to take advantage of our compliance support solutions. Our pharmacy team can prepare a convenient, tear-away blister pack solution to provide you with the exact dose of each medication needed at each time of day. Keep your weekly pack at home or tear away a few days for a weekend trip, and if you’re heading to work take the afternoon pack in your pocket or purse. Ideal for a busy lifestyle or as an accessibility aid - to support medication compliance for people with vision, arthritis, or memory concerns - our blister packs are a great solution to support consistent, accurate medication dosages.
Vaccinations
Canada Chemists provides vaccination services to keep you and your community safe from infectious diseases. A vaccine helps your body build natural immunity to a disease and helps to prevent the spread of disease to others, especially people at higher risk of infection.
The Universal Influenza Immunization Program (UIIP) is available during flu season from October to March. A new vaccine is required every year because the type of influenza viruses changes every year. The flu shot is available for people over 6 months of age, with some exceptions.
Other vaccination services include:
- COVID-19
- Hepatitis
- Meningitis
